Meet the Author
Cheri Bourgeois was raised in a small southern city known as Chalmette, LA. She graduated from Louisiana State University Dental School with a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene. Cheri has been a hygienist for 25 years. She lives in Madisonville, LA with her husband Kris and their two children, Emma and Jacques. She is an animal lover who loves being with her family and going on vacations.
Meet the Illustrator
Paula Merritt Windham was born and raised in Shreveport, LA but has been in Slidell LA for 45 years. She is married to Mike Windham and has 3 sons, Michael, Christopher and Jonathan, 3 wonderful daughter-in-laws and 4 precious grandchildren. Paula has been a childrens' book illustrator for 8 years and a long time artist. She loves animals and nature and enjoys her family and two horses.
